Weekly Spending Summary

Whew, I spent a lot this week! At the beginning of the week I thought I was doing so good, but then, I needed one thing after another and well, it just added up. Pretty sure I'm over budget for the month by a bit. I'll be doing my Monthly Spending Summary later today and I'll find out for sure how much then. I did get some good deals this week though in spite of spending a lot- that is at least a positive thing! :)

Total Spent: $67.39
Total Saved with Coupons: $51.45
Total Saved with Sales: $21.31
Total Saved: $72.76

Rite Aid:
$4.89
Saved with Coupons: $15.00
Saved with Sales: $8.26

Freebies: All of the above after SCR

CVS:
$0 (gift card)
Saved with Coupons: $6.98
Saved with Sales: $0.70

Freebies: Kotex, BioTrue
Also purchased, but not pictured Stouffer's Single Serve Lasagna

I worked at CVS the day I bought this stuff and didn't have anything in the fridge to take for my lunch. So I bought a Stouffer's lasagna and ate that...hence the unpictured lasagna! :)

I used $2.98 in Extra Bucks and got back $7.98 in Extra Bucks.

Aldi: $2.22

I forgot to take a picture of this purchase but I got a 12oz. frozen orange juice concentrate and 2 bunches of bananas. The bananas were marked down to Buy One, Get One Free so they were some pretty cheap bananas! I only wished later that I would have bought more.

Giant: $14.00
Saved with Coupons: $18.67
Saved with Sales: $12.35

Freebie: Bull's Eye

I had a lot of fun at Giant this week. I had a free product coupon for the Bull's Eye and was able to get the ice cream for only $1 each. But the best part was the Kraft cheese. There is a catalina deal where when you buy 5 certain Kraft products in one transaction, you get a $5 catalina coupon to use on your next purchase. I happened to spot $1 peelie coupons on the Kraft shredded cheese and was able to get 5 lbs. of cheese for $1/lb. after the coupons and catalinas! I was pretty thrilled, esp. since I had just run out of cheese.

Walmart: $5.37
Saved with Coupons: $10.80

Freebies: Libby's canned veggies; small DiGiorno pizza

I had free product coupons for the Libby canned veggies and the small personal size DiGiorno pizza. I was disappointed to find that Walmart carries barely any varieties of Libby's veggies so I ended up getting canned succotash and plan on donating to a local food bank since we do NOT like the stuff at all.

Local Bulk Food Stores: $25.15

I also later purchased some brown sugar, oatmeal and chocolate chips that I never took a picture of.

Misc: $15.76
This was for $1/lb. butter and some inexpensive lunch meat my mother-in-law bought for me.
