In a hurry and looking for something tasty to make for your sweet tooth? Here's just the recipe you need. Simple enough that even your child could make them, and yet delicious enough the whole family will enjoy them, One, Two, Three Coffee Bars are pretty much always a winner. And even if you don't like coffee, I am pretty sure you'll like these bars- the coffee only gives them a warm, sort of nutty flavor.
One, Two, Three Coffee Bars
2 2/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. warm coffee
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
chocolate chips
Mix everything together, except chocolate chips. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick pricked in center comes out clean. Once bars are cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
** If you prefer, bake in a 9x13 pan for 25-30 minutes.
