There is a new coupon here for a $25 Rite Aid gift card when you transfer a prescription to Rite Aid Pharmacy. This is a great way to make a little extra money.
Since I work as a pharmacy technician I feel compelled to remind that if you get medications filled at several different pharmacies to ALWAYS keep a list of the drugs you take with you so that you can show it to the pharmacist any time you get a new medication filled. Are you wondering why? If your medications are all filled at the same pharmacy, the pharmacist can quickly check to make sure there are no drug interactions. Obviously if you have some medications filled at say Rite Aid and others filled at CVS, any possible drug interactions are going to be hard to catch. That is why if you are filling a new medication, you should show the pharmacist filling it your list and have them double check it for any potential interactions.
I know some of you may be thinking that your doctor does this for you. But let me assure you, as good as your doctor may be, they aren't highly trained in drug interactions and unfortunately too often prescribe drugs that don't work well together. That is why it is always good to double check with your pharmacist.
Okay, I'll stop now!
