Weekly Spending Summary

Total Spent: $34.78
Total Saved with Coupons: $53.47
Total Saved with Sales: $78.22
Total Saved: $131.69

Rite Aid
: $0.77
Saved with Coupons: $39.97
Saved with Sales: $53.06

I had a rain check for the Purex Crystals, Motrin and the Dixie Plates. I got the little coupons that you see in front of the plates for donating money to The Children's Miracle Network. Rite Aid is raising money for them right now.

CVS: $0 (gift card)
Saved with Coupons: $2.50
Saved with Sales: $0.13

I about didn't even go to CVS this week, but decided to because I wanted the bubbles (they were free after Extra Bucks) and thought I'd get a few items I had rain checks for. Well, they still didn't have the rain check items so I ended up not getting much. The bubbles and Russell Stover's were free after Extra Bucks and the tissues were a filler item.

The bubbles have provided lots of fun for Logan. In fact, this trip may have been worth it just fo them!

Giant: $5.50
Saved with Coupons: $11.00
Saved with Sales: $15.66

Can't make out what's in the bag? It's grapes. Actually I got another bag later on in the week too since I ended up using lots of these for a fruit pizza I made.

The great Heluva Good cheese coupon has reset and I was able to get cheese for $2/lb.

Stauffers: $8.51
Saved with Sales: $9.37

I couldn't pass up a sale for $0.88/doz. eggs. And while I was there I got some inexpensive apples too.

Misc.: $20.00
- this is for raw milk that we get at a local farm

  1. I also have a raincheck for the Purex Softener Crystals and they still don't have them in! Grrr! I was there yesterday hoping they would have them because I had worked out a sweet deal with the buy $30 get a $10 UPR. Sigh...I always tell myself before I go not to get excited about any of the deals because they're known for not stocking well.

  2. Michelle, first of all, you are probably wondering why your comment shows up as Anonymous. I accidentally deleted your comment but thankfully still had it in my email so I copied and pasted. :)

Ugh! I hate when I want to use a raincheck to get a sweet deal and they are out of stock. For that matter, I hate when they are out of stock period! The one Rite Aid here in the city is usually out of stuff unless I get there Monday. The other one does better usually however it is slowly getting worse. One of their employees said that they have more and more people that are using coupons and doing the deals and it is making it harder to keep up. Kind of makes sense, but still... I know what you mean about trying not to get excited before you go and make sure they have the stuff you want in stock!

  3. I never got into CVS deals, but now I am going to watch them! FREE bubbles?! That's wonderful. My son has dropped all my containers and we are completely out, haha. I am going to be watching for another one of those deals!
