I didn't do too bad this week, although I have already spent a lot this month on a bulk purchase of meat that I bought so I don't have too much wiggle room.
We budget $190 a month for groceries which comes out to $43.84 a week. I spent a total of $40.05 this week, so was just barely under what would be our weekly budget.
This was my weekly shopping at CVS. I spent a grand total of $1.77 for all of the above. A few of the items were purchased with rain checks that I had. And in case you are curious, I plan to donate the Zantac.
I spent $13.72 at Aldi this week.
And I got the above items for $2.37 at Giant.
I also made a trip to our local bulk food store and bought $22.19 of food there. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of what I bought, but it included things like brown sugar, rice, fresh fruit, marjoram, flour, and raisins.
