Tasty Tuesday: Chocolate Chip Cheeseball

With the holiday season fast approaching, I thought it might be time to post some recipes that I like to serve for special occasions. This Chocolate Chip Cheeseball, while definitely not low in fat, is great to make for those times when you want a real treat.

I got this recipe from a friend who served it a special event. I loved it the moment I tasted it as it is incredibly yummy and moreish! And I like that it is a different twist on the usual cheeseball. I only wish I had a picture of it to post for you!

Chocolate Chip Cheeseball
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. mini chocolate chips
3/4 c. toffee bits
graham crackers

In mixing bowl beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugars; beat just until combined. Stir n chocolate chips. Refigerate for 2 hours. Form into a ball. Refrigerate for another hour. Roll into toffee bits. Serve with graham crackers (or cinnamon Teddy Grahams).
