We recently tried the Oscar Mayer beef franks and really liked them. They tasted so "real" compared to the typical hot dog you buy. And they contained no artificial flavors, colors fillers or by-products. Don't know about you, but I rather like that!

$1/2 Oscar Mayer Hot Dog Coupon
We recently tried the Oscar Mayer beef franks and really liked them. They tasted so "real" compared to the typical hot dog you buy. And they contained no artificial flavors, colors fillers or by-products. Don't know about you, but I rather like that!

I did get the food sample pack with the hot dogs, and I was planning to combine it, but was a little unsure whether I would be allowed to. (I'm a little green at couponing still) So thanks!
ReplyDeleteRosanna, you may have a few stores that give you hassle for combining them, but I usually have no problem. Hope it works for you!
ReplyDeleteI always been under the understanding that you can't do this??? If you use the free coupon with the $1/2 coupon you are getting another $.50 off the pack of hot dogs you're getting free. Isn't that using 2 coupons against one pack of hot dogs?
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I don't see any problem with it. You are essentially buying 2 packs of hot dogs, just getting the one free with a coupon. I've never had issues (except at a particular store that has issues with nearly every coupon!) doing it. They have always scanned just fine. Maybe I am not using them legitimately though.
ReplyDeleteI know at CVS when I would ring customers we never had problems doing a transaction like that either.
The thing that IS a problem and that I corrected in my post is using the FREE coupon AND the $1/2 coupon with a Buy One Get One Free sale. That simply won't work from what I know since it would give you overage. But maybe I am wrong there too?
About the BOGO sale with the coupons... If hot dogs are on sale for BOGO free and you decide to use the Free coupon with it you'll be getting both packs free. So yes there really is no need to use the $1/2 coupon.
